2 Yu & Hallidays Pascale Enzotica (IMP DNK) Picardy Sheepdog. This dog was the conversational topic all the way home after the show with my wife and I. (I feel a new breed coming into our life). This dog is just over two years, head showing good size for a dog and in proportion to the overall size of the dog, ears high set carried erect, neck strong and of good length, front end well set and elbows well under, top line was let down as the rear end was set to far back to give it a more perpendicular line on the rear end. Moved out well and was balanced on the move.

1 Yu & Halliday’s Pascale Enzotica (IMP DNK), Picardy Sheepdog, I have judged this dog before and given him top honours, at just over two years of age now he has got even better in my opinion because he is now maturing and has lost the immaturity he had and also, he has settled in the ring, the coat is now beginning to look as it should, crisp to the touch with a dense undercoat with good length. His movement is still well balanced and effortless and free, and being that all was there and correct as a young pup, in my opinion has gone on to improve, and although not fully mature yet, I am sure he is going to be a credit to the breed once he is mature.

DNK), 2 years old Picardy Sheepdog, Dog, has a lovely masculine head, dark eyes, correct muzzle, correct eyebrows, strong foreface with beard and moustache, correct set ears, good pigmentation, lovely bone, superb reach of neck, correct shoulder placement, good top-line, lovely body, has correct harsh coat, has good hindquarters, tail-set okay. Moved well and was well presented. Was a privilege to judge him. Headed a top quality class.

Well, what has been left to say about this 2-year-old male, I am so pleased that I have at last got my hands on him, fore head slightly convex blending in smoothly into the muzzle, slight stop, dark eye with long eyebrow with eye still seen, complete with beard and moustache large black nose with good open nostrils, high set on ears fully erect, scissor bite tight lips, good length to shoulders and of good lay, strong topline which was carried well on well-muscled hindquarters, slight tuck up. Straight, effortless, free movement which covered the ground, with nothing overdone. I had no hesitation with awarding him Best Imported Breed Register & Best of Breed in Pastoral Group.

An excellent ambassador for the breed a delight to judge. Movement effortless with correct moderate reach.

1. Yu and Halliday’s Pascale Enzotica (Picardy Sheepdog). Loved this dog – his calmness, self-assurance, and yet obvious joy at being in the ring was there to see. His overall balance with his good reach of neck set into sloping shoulders, good length of back and moderately angulated hind quarters gave an overall impression of elegance. His coat was harsh and his facial furnishings good giving him a rugged appearance. His movement was light and effortless, and he looked as though he could do a day’s work. So impressive. BoB

1 Halliday & Yu’s Pascale Enzotica. My first sighting of a Picardy Sheepdog at a UK show and I’m sure he will continue to attract new friends to this striking breed. Head as per Standard with equal skull and muzzle, slightly convex skull, ok eyebrows and beard, the characteristic high set ears which contribute so much to the breed’s look, strong neck with proud head carriage, correct shoulder and upper arm, excels in topline, shapely body, powerful hindquarters, free effortless movement. Pleased to send him into the group.
