Medium sized, slightly longer to height. Well muscled but would like a bit more body weight which will come with maturity. Coat also still to finish but is harsh, good length. Framework is very well made, clean front, well laid shoulders and placed elbows. Good depth of chest, strong topline with slight slope to croup. Strong rear quarters with parallel limbs. Good lengths muzzle to skull, slight stop. Alert ear and eye. Moved well. Unfortunately was unsettled in the larger group ring. Best AV(P) Import.

Picardy Sheepdog, 7 mths. Pretty girl, still very much a baby but with a temperament (though not typical Picardy) to die for in a show dog. Certainly knows how to enjoy life to the full and screams look at me. Feminine head, expressive and enquiring demeanour. Dark eye, scissor bite. Good high set ears, broad at base and used constantly. Good length of neck into a body that is coming together well. Decent shoulders, chest developing well. Decent shoulders, chest developing well. Slight tuck up and good rear angulation, well muscled. Straight topline but does on occasion rise over loin if not stacked correctly but still growing and changing. Moved well and handled sympathetically.
BP & pleased to give her Puppy Group 1.

O (4,1) This was the hardest class for me today. All three were beautiful dogs that I thought fitted their breed standard well and all deserved the first placing.
1 Yu & Halliday’s Pascale Enzotica (Imp Dnk)
Picardy Sheepdog, two and a half yrs. A dog I have seen mature well over the last year or so. Good head proportions, dark med oval eye, large well set ears but very reluctant to use today. Moderate length of neck intro straight topline, sloping croup, would prefer smoother tailset. Well bodied, chest of good depth, slight tuck up. Parallel straight front, well angled fore and rear, moved with drive, lacking enthusiasm today (cost him in the group) but won on maturity to two very promising puppies.

1st/ Yu & Halliday’s Pascale Enzotica (imp Dnk) (Picardy Sheepdog). I have judged the this 2 ½ year old lad on a couple of times and I am still of the opinion that is of such a good representation of the breed standard with his well muscled body and alert, rugged appearance, now at a mature age he is showing the elegant movement he has even more. His coat is now at its final adult stage and gives him the true rugged appearance. Pleased to give him BOB and grp 3.

Critique:

1st   Yu & Halliday’s Stardust Halo Dolce Of Xanadu’s Aria For Enzotica (IMP USA) NAF At one week over 6 months old this bitch is still very raw and is still settling in to what is required of her, but that did not take away the fact that she is of good size, rugged in appearance with her coat beginning to take on the crispness required in the standard. Her head is beginning to take on the appearance of the long eyebrows, with slightly defined stop, and dark eye colour, with the customarily high set erect ears, good scissor bite, she already has the proud head carriage from a strong clean neck. Well laid shoulders, into good length of body and level topline which was held on the move and standing, good muscle on thighs for age, good length of tail reaching to strong hocks and short tight feet.  BP and Grp 4.

P(3) 1 Halliday & Yu’s Stardust Halo Dolce Of Xanadu’s Aria For Enzotica (Imp, USA). 6m,2days Picardy Sheepdog b; coped pretty well with learning the ropes, first time out; was functionally watchful of me from across the ring so as to show off an ex headpiece of 50:50 proportions with parallels & distinctive ears; desired length in backline with matching underline; unexaggerated angulation to give moderate reach as well as v sound; promise of a gd jacket; should surely bloom in the more natural, outdoor show environment just ahead. BPIB.

1st: Yu & Halliday’s Pascale Enzotica (Imp DNK). Picardy Sheepdog. An upstanding, impressive dog
with a beautiful outline. His head is in proportion to his size. Skull and muzzle appear equal in length.
Good parallel head planes. Stop is not over done or too blocky. Typical beard and whiskers are
present. Medium size eyes which are oval in shape and the colour blends with his coat colour. Ears
are high set when alert. Neck is moderate in length and leads to very well laid shoulders. Good
return to upper arm. Just right for proportions. Chest reaches to elbows and has the correct length
of foreleg. Moderate turn to stifles. Tail is well set. Great coat texture for me. Super mover from all
angles. A really super dog. Just lost a little interest in the group, but apart from that put up a
