Critique:

1st/ Yu & Halliday’s Pascale Enzotica (imp Dnk) (Picardy Sheepdog). I have judged the this 2 ½ year old lad on a couple of times and I am still of the opinion that is of such a good representation of the breed standard with his well muscled body and alert, rugged appearance, now at a mature age he is showing the elegant movement he has even more. His coat is now at its final adult stage and gives him the true rugged appearance. Pleased to give him BOB and grp 3.

Critique:

1st   Yu & Halliday’s Stardust Halo Dolce Of Xanadu’s Aria For Enzotica (IMP USA) NAF At one week over 6 months old this bitch is still very raw and is still settling in to what is required of her, but that did not take away the fact that she is of good size, rugged in appearance with her coat beginning to take on the crispness required in the standard. Her head is beginning to take on the appearance of the long eyebrows, with slightly defined stop, and dark eye colour, with the customarily high set erect ears, good scissor bite, she already has the proud head carriage from a strong clean neck. Well laid shoulders, into good length of body and level topline which was held on the move and standing, good muscle on thighs for age, good length of tail reaching to strong hocks and short tight feet.  BP and Grp 4.

On the move he is steady and sound.

AV Not Bred By Exhibitor (62,21) – With there being an accident just outside the venue I had a very full Stakes Class and some wonderful exhibits to go over.
1st Yu and Halliday Pascale Enzotica (IMP DNK) Picardy Sheepdog. What a charming breed this is. Super temperament and very confident. Nice size male with good body, nice rib and level topline. Lovely harsh coat and moved foot perfect.

1st: Yu & Halliday’s Pascale Enzotica (Imp DNK). Picardy Sheepdog. An upstanding, impressive dog
with a beautiful outline. His head is in proportion to his size. Skull and muzzle appear equal in length.
Good parallel head planes. Stop is not over done or too blocky. Typical beard and whiskers are
present. Medium size eyes which are oval in shape and the colour blends with his coat colour. Ears
are high set when alert. Neck is moderate in length and leads to very well laid shoulders. Good
return to upper arm. Just right for proportions. Chest reaches to elbows and has the correct length
of foreleg. Moderate turn to stifles. Tail is well set. Great coat texture for me. Super mover from all
angles. A really super dog. Just lost a little interest in the group, but apart from that put up a
faultless performance. Best Past. Import Register

1 Pascale Enzotica (Imp) I have judged this Picardy Sheepdog when he was a puppy and he has matured well. What an appealing breed, think they could well become popular, if others are as good as him. He is of good size, masculine without being overdone in any way. He has a super harsh coat, and crisp. Ease of gait holding a good shape.

1st: Yu & Halliday: PASCALE ENZOTICA (Imp DNK); (Picardy). (B.A.V.I.R.) This medium sized French Sheepdog was really well conditioned, strong without coarseness. He is elegant and is very well put together. I particularly liked his character. Smart and aware of everything around him. What a little cracker. Harsh coat, good head shape with dark eye, medium and oval in shape and his erect high set ears all frame his face. Strong muscular neck leading into nicely angulated forequarters. Good spring of rib of good length to short loin. Slight tuck up. Good bone, tight feet and what a smart little mover he is, such an easy gait with great reach and with an easy, efficient stride .Not only is he a smart one, but his character had so much appeal. Worked in unison with his compassionate handler.

Critique:

1st Pascale Enzotica, 2 1/2 yr old Picardy Sheepdog male, medium size male, well muscled. Correct head ratios with parallel planes. Slight stop with long distinct brows. Medium dark oval eyes. Ears are high set of moderate size but could be a little more forth coming about using them. Correct bite and dentition. Well laid shoulder, elbows lay close to the brisket. Level topline which is firm flowing to his slightly sloping croup. Correct tailset that has the correct slight curve on the tip. Gait is free and fluent however I would like a bit more verve and alertness from him which I think would bring him to the top, to achieve greater wins than he has already had. BOB

Coat of good texture. Lovely head and inquisitive expression. Good front and rear. Lovely to go over. Moved very sound and steady and coped with the floor with ease showing me a lovely smooth action.

2 Yu & Hallidays Pascale Enzotica (IMP DNK) Picardy Sheepdog. This dog was the conversational topic all the way home after the show with my wife and I. (I feel a new breed coming into our life). This dog is just over two years, head showing good size for a dog and in proportion to the overall size of the dog, ears high set carried erect, neck strong and of good length, front end well set and elbows well under, top line was let down as the rear end was set to far back to give it a more perpendicular line on the rear end. Moved out well and was balanced on the move.

Critique:

1 Yu & Halliday’s Pascale Enzotica (IMP DNK), Picardy Sheepdog, I have judged this dog before and given him top honours, at just over two years of age now he has got even better in my opinion because he is now maturing and has lost the immaturity he had and also, he has settled in the ring, the coat is now beginning to look as it should, crisp to the touch with a dense undercoat with good length. His movement is still well balanced and effortless and free, and being that all was there and correct as a young pup, in my opinion has gone on to improve, and although not fully mature yet, I am sure he is going to be a credit to the breed once he is mature.
